Formation of 2-Bromopropane: Addition to HBr to propene is an ionic electrophilic addition reaction in which the electrophile, (H+) adds to form a more stable 2° carbocation. In the 2nd reaction, the carbocation is rapidly attacked by the nucleophile (Br-) to form 2-bromopropane.
Formation of 1-Bromopropane:In the presence of benzoyl peroxide, the addition of HBr to propene involves free radical mechanism in which Br-free radical is obtained by the action of benzoyl peroxide on HBr.
(i) Br radical adds to propene to form the more stable 2° free radical.(ii) Free radical thus obtained rapidl

(i)           Acetone undergoes clemmensen reduction in presence of zinc amalgam and conc.HCl to give propane.

(ii)          Acetone reacts with semicarbazide to form semicarbazone.

(iii)        Acetone reduces to form tertiary alcohol in the presence of Grignard reagent.

(b) Due to extensive hydrogen bonding, carboxylic acid has the highest boiling points an among the given compound. Alcohols, with a smaller number of the hydrogen bond, have a lesser boiling point. Aldehydes have least boiling point due to the absence of hydrogen bonding.
Hence the order of boiling point is:
CH

The Roman social structure:1. Tacitus described the leading social groups of the early empire as follows: senators (patres, lit. ‘fathers’); leading members of the equestrian class; the respectable section of the people, those attached to the great houses; the unkempt lower class (plebs sordid) who, he tells us, were addicted to the circus and theatrical displays; and finally the slaves.
In the early third century when the Senate numbered roughly 1,000 approximately half of all senators still came from Italian families.
2. By the late empire, which starts with the reign of Constantine I in

Here, Δ T1 = 110-100 = 10o C As the rate of heat flow is directly proportional to the temperature difference and the temperature difference in both the cases is same i.e. 10o C. So, the same rate of heat will flow in the second case. Hence,

Let AC be the tower and BE be the building. Let height of the tower be h m. It is given that the angles of depression of the top C and bottom A of the tower, observed from top of the building be 30° and 60° respectively. In right triangle CDE, we haveIn right triangle ABE, we haveComparing (i) and (ii), we getHence, the height of the tower is 40 m.

Parasympathetic neural signal reduces both heart rate and cardiac output, through the postganglionic fibres. These fibres are very short and are cholinergic in nature.

The excess pressure inside the soap bubble is inversely proportional to the radius of soap bubble i.e. P ∝1/r, r being the radius of the bubble. It follows that pressure inside a smaller bubble is greater than that inside a bigger bubble. Thus, if these two bubbles are connected by a tube, air will flow from smaller bubble to bigger bubble and the bigger bubble grows at the expense of the smaller one.

Intensity of light = K units Phase difference corresponding to λ is 2π and phase difference corresponding to λ/3 is 2π/3. Now, using the formula of intensity,               I = I1+I2+2I1I2 cos ϕ Let, I1 = I2 = I0                       In the first case, when path difference is λ.              K = I0+I0+2I0 cos 2π = 4I0 In the second case, when path difference is λ3             K  = I0+I0+2I0cos2π3                 = I0+I0-2I012 = I0 Now, K K = I04I0 =14  =  K  = K4 Therefore, intensity is one-fourth of it s initial value when path difference is λ/3.                       .

Endurance can be defined as the ability to withstand stress over prolonged periods of time. An endurance sport is therefore any sport in which there is a prolonged physical stress.
Types of endurance:According to the nature of activity, the endurance is classified into following types:
Basic Endurance- Also known as aerobic endurance, because basic endurance depends mainly on aerobic endurance. In fact, basic endurance is the ability to perform movements in which large number of body muscles are involved and the activity is performed at slow speed or pace for a long duration.
General Enduran
